The Illini Moms Association was created in 1923 for "the purpose of promoting the welfare and interest of the University and its students through services and open communications on campus and throughout the state". It is the oldest Moms Association known in the United States having celebrated our centennial anniversary in 2023. Our board is comprised of a dedicated group of moms who are here to support the university students and their families.
We organize events, programs, and projects to benefit Illinois students. Examples include Illini Moms Weekend events; food insecurity; fundraising for student scholarships and for an enduring gift on university grounds for students to enjoy. We work closely with the Student Affairs NSFE program as well as the Illini Dads Association. Illini Moms, consider joining the Moms Association board! University supporters, consider contributing to our scholarship fund!

YOGA CLASS & HEALTHY SNACKS ON THE GO

10:00 a.m. - noon
Cost: $35 per person
Location: Activities & Recreation Center (ARC)
The Illini Moms Association and New Student & Family Experiences are excited to partner together to offer a yoga class and food demonstration. Held at the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC), this unique event promotes health and wellness for students and families and is a great way to start your morning.
The yoga class will focus on leading participants through a variety of poses accessible to all levels of yoga practitioners. Benefits of the class include learning to build core strength, flexibility, and range of motion. Participants will also enjoy a food demonstration of delicious quick and easy on-the-go healthy snacks.
No experience is necessary. Please come dressed in comfortable clothing. Yoga mats and blocks included.

Of all the events and happenings on campus during Moms Weekend, the IL Moms Sunday Brunch proves to be one of the most popular year after year!
On Sunday, April 6, in the Illini Union, you are invited to a delectable breakfast buffet and entertainment from the Girls Next Door Acapella group.
IL Moms Brunch is an easy way to spend time together without the hassle of securing reservations.
It accommodates large and small groups, and every ticket purchase helps support the mission of the IL Moms Association.
